As soon as I saw the Janome 15822 Hello Kitty sewing machine, I wanted it. The fact that I’ve edged into my 40s didn’t stop me one bit. I try not to have a thing for “cute” but it can’t be helped. It’s in my blood.
Fortunately, this is also a real – as I can use it to do all kinds of things and it will hold up for ages – machine. You’ll be amazed at how much this little thing can do. It might look like a toy but don’t let that fool you.

While comparing the Janome DC4030 sewing machine stitches to those of the Janome DC2012, I found the graphic showing the number and type for the DC4030 and thought it might be handy to have for future reference. Questions about stitches on a machine come up fairly often.
The DC4030 has a total of 24 built in stitches. Six of them are buttonholes, eight are satin stitches, 1 mending stitch, and 9 utility stitches. Because of the number of buttonhole stitches, this machine would be well suited towards those who really need a good machine for making clothes.

The Janome DC1050 sewing machine is a new model for 2011. No snazzy color accents here – just a super affordable machine with precision stitching, lots of automation, and a powerful DC motor. This one is obviously a powerhouse with a no-nonsense attitude!
It costs about the same as basic starter machines that come with a lot less. For about $300 you can buy a high quality machine with lots of automation built by one of the most respected brands in the industry. It’s the kind of deal that makes you feel like you’re getting away with something sneaky!

This is the sewing machine you want when you plan on doing a lot of sewing and when the appearance and quality of your stitches will be an integral part of your work.
(And I’m not just saying that because its adorable pink accents are a perfect match for this site!)

The Janome 3160 QDC sewing machine was built with quilters in mind. All the best quilting needs are built right in! Want to do other types of sewing? No problem.
Beautiful stitches are a given with Janomes but you’re also going to get an extra long extension table, the latest feed dog system, complete button operation for all functions and the whole thing is packed into a full-size machine that weighs just over 12 pounds.

The Janome JNH1860 sewing machine commemorates Janome’s celebration of 150 years of great sewing. It’s a great showcase of some of the best in automation and quick set up along with a beautiful collection of stitches.
This one’s not yet available online so I’m off to visit my local dealer to gather more information in the next day or two. Wanted to post this much, at least, to satisfy the request from a recent site visitor.

The Janome Jem Gold 660 is a ¾ size sewing machine – compact and portable but with complete functionality and a design layout that makes it feel full-sized.
This 12-lb. machine offers 8 stitches, including 2 stretch stitches and a built-in buttonhole.

The Janome DC3050 sewing machine offers precision stitching in a solidly built design with great features. It’s pretty, is a nice weight for home use, and – most importantly – is a high quality sewing machine. Beginners who want to explore a variety of sewing projects will get many years of value from this machine.
It was apparent upon review of all the features, though, that one should compare the DC3050 to the Janome DC2010 for a full understanding of choices and price savings. I’ve outlined the differences between the two at the end of the Features section of this review.

The Janome 8077 features and stitches might look awfully familiar and yet you’ll have a hard time finding anything out about this particular model from Janome. There’s no listing for it on their website and no manual available online. Why? Because it is exactly like the Janome Magnolia 7330 but without the pretty Magnolia graphics.
My guess is that this model was manufactured originally for another country or maybe it was a private label arrangement with some company at one point because Hancock Fabrics appears to have sold this machine for an extended period of time.
