Hi! Welcome to my site. My name is Erin and this site has been a labor of love for over two years now. In that time, I’ve reviewed over 45 sewing machines and built up over 2000 comments from people just like you who are trying to figure out which machine to buy.

It’s not an easy task, that decision making process, is it? There are so many different brands and models, so many that are similar, and prices range all over the board. On top of that, we all have different needs. A quilter needs one set of stitches and accessories while a seamstress needs another.

How do you find the best one for you?

That’s what I hope to help you figure out. I dig into each machine so thoroughly that it takes me days to understand all of the features. I visit local sewing stores to conduct a live demo. I’ve even purchased some to try them out at home. Then, I assemble the information together with as much care as I can manage and put it on this site.

I’ve also built some tools to help you do some comparisons more quickly. There’s a page listing all of the machines I’ve covered as well as a wizard tool you can use to compare up to 3 machines side by side.

Best of all – if you have a question, post a comment and I’ll answer it as quickly as I can.

Good luck in your search!

Sincerely,

Erin
